Made to occupy what was essentially a giant parking lot in the Hunters Point neighborhood of SF, the planter boxes act as seating and shade on a harsh site. The planters and seats can be reconfigured, moved and deployed in endless configurations.
Version one of a reconfigurable, re-deployable planter-seating system. Composed of custom powder-coated steel angles, and milled western red cedar.
Designed at the location of a defunct power plant in the Hunters Point neighborhood of SF, the planters help activate a giant outdoor, post industrial lot for community engagement.
